About Us
Our Commitment to You
Quality Compassionate Services is a disability support services provider, established with the sole aim of offering support that always puts participants first.
We provide a range of disability services, with the aim of making a difference. The goal is to make each of our participants’ lives easier, fairer, and more involved.
We descend from a Culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) background with wealth of multicultural experience and emotional intelligence.
While we were blessed to integrate with our new society, we understand challenges facing people with CALD backgrounds and especially those living with disabilities.

Ruby Halaseh
Founder/ Support Coordinator and Psychosocial Recovery Coach
Ruby came to the disability sector from the ground up. She spent three years as a Bicultural NDIS Educator with AMPARO Advocacy, then worked as a Tenancy Officer at MDA and an NDIS Community Connector, before moving into support coordination at Harmony Place. She now leads the support coordination and psychosocial recovery coaching team at QCS, and directs the Peer Support and Capacity Building program delivered through DiversAbilities.
She and William built their life in Australia after arriving from Syria in 2016. Ruby understands what families carry when they are working through the system in a second language, and how much parents keep advocating for their children long after those children are adults.
She speaks Arabic, French and English.
"I've done every job in this work, from the ground up. And every family I've had, I still think about."

William Farah
Founder/ Director / Core Support Coordinator
William Farah co-founded Quality Compassionate Services in 2023 with Ruby Halaseh, and serves as Director and Owner.
Before QCS, William spent close to twenty years as an engineer. He worked at Ericsson in Syria, then across IT and telecommunications in Brisbane, including Optus and Red Oxygen, and taught IT networking at TAFE Queensland. He holds a Masters in IT Management.
He and Ruby built their life in Australia after arriving from Syria in 2016. William knows what it takes to arrive somewhere new and work through an unfamiliar system in a second language, and that is why QCS exists.
He works directly with participants as a Core Support Coordinator and directs the Peer Support and Capacity Building program. He speaks Arabic and English.
"I know what it takes to start over. No family should do it alone."
